Selecting Product.

To place an order, simply click on the 'Add to Basket'/'Buy Online' link for the required product(s). This takes you to a 'shopping basket' page that adds up the prices and carriage charges (see Note 1). If you want to select further items for purchase, then click on the 'continue shopping' link and return to the required pages to repeat the process. This accumulates the required items in the 'shopping basket' (see note2).

Checkout & Payment.

When the required items have been selected and you wish to buy online, you simply click on the 'checkout' link. This takes you to a page detailing the terms and conditions of the sale. When you have agreed to these, press 'I agree to the terms....' to take you to the payment entry page. This directs you onto a secure site (prefix https:) for entry of credit card details, address and contact details for order completion. Your payment details from the secure site are encrypted in transfer between your computer and the secure server. From the server, the details are encrypted and immediately forwarded to Car-Roofracks. (The details are not held on the server or on your computer.) You will receive an immediate automatic acknowledgement confirming your order.

Security.

The security of the secure site is indicated by the padlock symbol seen on your browser screen and the 'https:' prefix of the web page. The security can be authenticated by clocking on the SSL Thawte logo above.

Note 1: Carriage charges on international (non-UK) orders are not shown. Please place your order fully and we will contact you with the total cost before processing your order.

Note 2: For the 'shopping basket facility to operate, 'Cookies' should not be disabled on your browser. This allows the shopping basket page to keep track of whose 'basket' is whose. It does not store anything else, nor is it used to collect information from your computer.

You can order Online.

Collect all the items you require into the 'Shopping Basket' and then proceed by clicking the 'Check-Out' button. This asks you to confirm you have agreed to the terms and conditions and then takes you to a secure web page which will require your credit card details, address, tel number etc. Complete the form and Submit. It is as simple as that.

You can order by Telephone.

Simply call (UK) 01752 600771 during the hours of 9.30am to 5.30pm Mon-Fri. Give your order details and credit card number and the order is placed. If no-one is available to take your call, then detail your telephone number to the answer-phone, and we will call you back.
