Which box fits my car?
Thule Roofboxes will fit many vehicles on the road today. Most Hatchbacks (Ford Focus) or Saloons (Audi A4) will suit top boxes up to 190cm in length. Estates & Large Saloons will suit the Excellence or Dynamic 900 roofboxes.
Whats the difference in boxes, why such price differences?
The differences in roofboxes is the materials used, the finish and the fittings used to secure the roofbox to your vehicle. All roofboxes are made from Recyclable ABS plastic. As you go through the range from Karrite to the Excellence the quality & thickness of the plastic improves dramatically, this gives you a stiffer / stronger and longer life expectancy of the box. The there's the features - single & dual side opening hinges, internal & external handles, single & dual side locking mechanism, the box finish - rough & matt colour or smooth & glossy colour and then the mounting systems - 4 u-bolts with thumbs knobs up to the Power Click, single handed, torque indicating fitting.
How do roof boxes attach?
All Thule & Karrite roofboxes have four mounting points that attach to your roofrack. Each model of box on our website shows which mounting system it uses. Karrite use a 'U-bolt' that you locate under your roofbars then up in to the box, Thule use a 'Claw' that is fitted from inside the top box and then the 'claw' can be closed around the roofbar. you can see the types of mounting system here. Roofboxes can also be fitted to roofbars that have a 'track' running along the top, knows as 'T-Track'. A 'T-Track' adapter kit is required. More Details. A T-Track adapter kit consists of 4 flat headed bolts that will slide into the track on top of the roofbars.

You can return via a national courier. We can arrange this for you if you do not have the facility to do so. A charge is made for this service, please call us.
